proLogistik has automated stacker management for this. Optimised deployment control and scheduling of the vehicles takes place fully automated using the special stacker control system software pL-Trans. With a central EDP-controlled deployment control, the stacker control system organises the stacker fleet’s transport sequence path- and order-optimised and priority-controlled. The highlight of our stacker control system: pL-Trans is self-learning in terms of path optimisation.

This means that the stacker control system can be used directly without any maintenance effort. It learns all the relevant paths on its own and optimises your vehicle fleet continually. This optimises throughput times and drastically, while reducing empty runs and waiting times.

Our smart stacker control system will also learn new paths automatically in case of restructuring. This leads to an efficient use and wear reduction of the fleet and improves personnel deployment. For an optimised material flow, all industrial trucks are connected to the EDP of the control centre. This is done by wireless data transmission technology. The software of the control centre receives its transport requests online using local, stationary terminals or from superordinate host systems, which enables it to specify the optimal transport sequence at all times.
