Description

 The telescopic conveyors, produced by Europa Systems, are dedicated to handle ≤ 50 kg loads.

Due to their special design, telescopic conveyors, consisting of a base and pull-out sections, significantly accelerate and facilitate the process of unloading and loading of goods. Our customers may select among conveyor variants with various numbers of pull-out sections and with different total length options, depending on the type of products transporting vehicles and the particular features of a warehouse (such as reloading platforms or the necessity to communicate with other conveyors).

Telescopic conveyor types:

A telescopic belt conveyor is a recommended solution for loading and unloading of parcels where the transport of products is arranged on a rubber belt. The conveyors can be extended two or three times. The conveyor length changes are driven by electric motors. PVC bands are 600 or 800 millimetres wide, with forward or backward movement direction or with a bidirectional movement function. The standard length of a telescopic conveyor is 5 to 7 metres and the entire length with pull-out sections varies from 11.5 to 21 metres – on customer request, we may deliver conveyors in customised dimensions.

With the application of telescopic conveyors at warehouses, the vehicle unloading/loading time periods are significantly reduced, hence the solutions become more and more common in new warehouse investment projects. The easiness of installation and the low costs of purchase and integration with other, already used systems, are further great advantages of our telescopic conveyors.
A telescopic roll conveyor similar as the band conveyor, enables the operator to shift the drop and reception points when needed. It is possible to install a telescopic roll conveyor in stationary version, dedicated to one dock, while the version with a drive ensures the flexibility of moving the conveyor from one dock to another. Our standard conveyors are 5 to 8 metres long, while their entire length with pull-out sections varies from 11.5 to 21 metres – on customer request, we may deliver conveyors in customised dimensions.

Transportation System

A telescopic conveyor is an effective solution in package handling applications. After extension, it minimises the need of manual handling of products by operators. When needed, the dropping or reception spot can be shifted directly to the operator’s side by meand of simple joystick movement.

Applications

Telescopic conveyors are mainly used for flexible unloading and loading of trucks and trailers to 13 m in length. The telescopic conveyors handle carton boxes, cases, containers and small pallets (up to 50 kg).
