Application for steel coil fuses
n the production of a steel coil, the metal industry faces the challenge of protecting it from deformation. Just right after rolling and winding this unsecured would tend to lose its round shape, as it would be obtained by its high weight, a slightly oval shape.
Rothschenk invented the steel coil fuse for this problem. A specially manufactured accumulation pad in cylindrical form is inserted and inflated directly after winding into the core of the steel coil. The high strength of the accumulation pad prevents the coil from settling evenly on the coil.
