EVP3062 – Print & Apply automatic application of labels
The EVP system is a P & A system – Print & Apply – designed for the automatic application of labels at the end of the line and on palletizing systems is based on the reliable and renowned Techno Touch system.
The project was originally designed to provide a response to the demands of the SSCC – Serial Shipping Container Code – which provides for the application of large-format labels on two adjacent sides of the pallet. The system is stand-alone and consists of an industrial computer that manages a printing unit and the label application system.
The operating principle is based on the ability to manage the labeling of the pallet according to the information received in real time from the control computer. The latter receives the data from the company management system and, once the printing and application of the two labels have been completed, checks the readability of the printed barcode and its correspondence with the data received from the central system. The print engine – generally A Class of Datamax or PX4 of CAB – print 5 “inch labels with a print definition of 300 dpi. The work cycle involves printing two labels that are applied on two adjacent sides of the pallet.
In addition to the EVP3062 system which is the top of the range as it includes the P & A system, the industrial PC, the management software + the label sw, the barcode scanner and the standard stand side, they answer other less complete but equally performing models as the EVP3062 model for the application of a single label or the Techno 3062 and 2062 systems which use only the P & A system and the product presence sensor.
